The ZL50015 is an enhanced non-blocking TDM switch with 1024 x 1024 channel switching capacity and integrated Stratum 4E DPLL with holdover in a monolithic IC. The device offers per-stream rate selection, embedded G.711 (A-Law/u-Law) code conversion and simultaneous all-stream Bit Error Rate (BER) testing. It is designed to deliver performance advantages and cost benefits for low-density applications.

- 1024 channel x 1024 channel non-blocking TDM switch
- 16 serial TDM input, 16 serial TDM output streams or 16 bi-directional streams
- Per-stream input and output data rate selection and conversion at 2.048, 4.096 , 8.192 or 16.384 Mbps.
- Integrated Digital Phase-Locked Loop (DPLL) exceeds Telcordia GR-1244-CORE Stratum 4E specifications
- DPLL accepts four independent reference clock inputs and provides holdover, freerun and jitter attenuation
- Generates 6 Output clocks and 4 frame pulses with less than 1 ns of jitter
- Per-stream high impedance buffer control outputs for 8 output streams
- Per-stream input bit delay and output advancement
- Per-channel ITU-T G.711 PCM A-Law/u-Law Translation
- Per-channel constant or variable throughput delay
- Simultanous all-stream BER Test circuits complying to ITU-O.151
- Intel and Motorola compatible 16-bit non-multiplexed interface
- IEEE-1149.1 (JTAG) test port
- 3.3 V I/O with 5 V tolerant inputs
- 1.8 V core voltage
